Bourne has been left wanting a faster broadband service from BT with their Infinity fibre optic product which is being rolled out across Lincolnshire smaller towns during 2011  yet still Bourne is waiting for faster broadband to materialise and for BT to give an estimated date or in fact even some sort of recognition from BT. Other local Lincolnshire towns have been promised faster broadband, towns like Market Deeping are set to have fibre optic broadband by the end of December 2011, with a population of just 6,200, almost half the population of Bourne. Chatteris will have fibre optic broadband by the end of September 2011, with a population of just 8,820, equally deserving residents crying out for faster broadband, question is if Bourne’s situation is anything to go by then these other Lincolnshire towns can take the dates the fibre optic broadband is due to be rolled out by with a pinch of salt.
